自己紹介

SMALL WORLDでテックリクルーターをしています Hadija 佐藤と申します。
私はフィリピン系日本人で、母国語は英語とフィリピン語です。
日本語も話せるので、気軽に話しかけてくださいね。

My name is Hadija Sato and I am a Tech Recruiter at SMALL WORLD.
I am Japanese-Filipino and my native languages ​​are English and Filipino.
I can speak Japanese too, so please feel free to talk to me!

SMALL WORLDへ入社する前

 幼い頃の私はとても臆病な性格で、人とうまくコミュニケーションをとることができませんでした。
中学、高校と小さな学校だったこともあり、高校生までは大人しく、静かで、内気な性格でした。

ですが、大学に入学すると状況は一変しました。
多くの人と関わる事でコミニケーションの重要性を深く認識し、自ら積極的に変わっていこうと努力しました。もともと幼少期に引っ越しが多かった事もあり、順応力、対応力はあるほうだったと思います。

When I was younger, I was very timid and I couldn't communicate well with people. From junior high school to senior high school, I was in a small school so I was quiet and shy until high school.

However, things changed when I entered college. By interacting with many people, I became deeply aware of the importance of communication and I actively made efforts to change myself. Originally, I moved a lot when I was a child so I think that I had the ability to adapt and respond well to changes.

優れたコミュニケーション能力と人間力を身につけるため、国際関係学や外交学を学んだり、様々な事に挑戦しました。 そして、自信と勇気を身につけ、自らの殻を破るため、ムエタイにも挑戦しました！

In order to acquire excellent communication skills and people skills, I studied international relations and diplomacy and tried various things. To gain confidence and courage to break out of my shell, I tried Muay Thai!
 
大学卒業後、フィリピンでシンガポールを拠点とするeコマース教育企業のリレーションシップ・マネージャーとしてキャリアをスタートさせました。

この経験を通じて私は、新しい人と出会い、多くの人をサポートし、役に立つ事にやりがいを感じるようになりました。

After college, I started my career in the Philippines as a relationship manager for a Singapore-based e-commerce education company.

Through this experience, I was able to meet new people, supported many people, and I really found it rewarding to be able to help people.

SMALL WORLDへ入社するきっかけ

フィリピンでの生活を経て、日本に帰国しました。
この国で自分のキャリアをちゃんと築けるかどうか、多くの疑問と不安を抱えたままの移住でした。

名古屋で就職したいという気持ちもありましたが、自分の経験と英語力を活かせる企業を名古屋で探すのは難しいと考えていました。

自分のやりたい仕事に就きたいけど、名古屋で英語力を活かせる自分の希望に沿った企業を探すのは厳しいと半ば諦めかけていた中、SMALL WORLDの求人広告を見つけ、すぐに応募しました！

After living in the Philippines, I returned to Japan.

I immigrated with many doubts and anxieties as to whether I would be able to successfully build my career in this country.

I wanted to find a job in Nagoya, but I thought it would be difficult to find a company in Nagoya where I could use English and apply my experience.

I wanted to get a job that I wanted to do, but I was about to give up because it was very difficult to find a company in Nagoya where I could use my English skills. I found a job ad for SMALL WORLD and applied immediately!

多くの人をサポートしたいというのが、私の目標でした。 ホームページ上で、会社のミッションを見た時にとても感銘を受けました。 世界はますますつながっていき、世界中の人々が平等に機会を得られるような環境づくりに 貢献できるのであれば、ぜひその一翼を担いたい！　そう思いました。

My goal was to help as many people as possible. I was very impressed when I saw the mission of the company on the homepage. The world is becoming more and more connected, and if we can contribute to creating an environment in which people all over the world can have equal opportunities, I would love to play a part in it! 

SMALL WORLDへ入社して

入社前は決められた仕事を、決められたフローで、淡々と上手くこなしていかなければならないとゆうイメージでした。
ですが実際は、社内ルールや長年培われてきたワークフローがもちろんあるものの、上司や仲間から積極的に自分の意見やアイディアを求められ、自分の考えやアイディアが採用される場面も多くありました。

日本企業特有の規則や規律、社内ルールやワークフローと、ベンチャーならではのこういった積極性を求められる社風を私は気に入っています。

Before I joined the company, I had an image that I had to do the work that was decided, according to the flow that was decided.

However in reality, although there are company rules and workflows that have been cultivated over many years, my bosses and colleagues actively sought my opinions and ideas. There were many occasions when my thoughts and ideas were adopted.

I like discipline in Japanese companies as well as the work culture of being proactive that is unique to venture companies.

今後について

これからも多くの人と出会い、キャリアアップや経験・スキルアップの機会を作るお手伝いをしたいと思っています。

今、テックリクルーターとして身を置いているIT業界はスピードが早く、学ぶ事もつきません。
そして、いつか自分もこのITの力、テクノロジーの力を使って、多くの人の役に立ちたいと思っています。
私の、大きな夢を実現するための旅は始まったばかりです。

I would like to continue meeting many people and help create opportunities for career advancement, experience, and skill improvement.

The IT industry where I am currently working as a tech recruiter is fast-paced and there is nothing that I cannot learn. Someday, I would like to use the power of IT and the power of technology to help many people. My journey to realize my big dream has just begun.
